The “Nine Stories” of J.D. Salinger

Most people remember J.D. Salinger for the Catcher in the Rye. It is a wonderful book but in my personal opinion his best work and probably one of the best books I ever read is his far less well-known, “Nine Stories”.

I read the Catcher in the Rye once many years ago, but I go back and read the Nine Stories again and again.

A book deeply emotional, intelligent, frustrated, wild mad, sometimes funny, difficult to ignore it.

Read it!
