Well! This is interesting.
In an opinion piece, in the WSJ titled “Why I Support the Ryan Roadmap,” Sarah Palin praises Paul Ryan’s (R., Wisc.), “Roadmap for America’s Future” and says that it “offers a reliable path to long-term solvency for our entitlement programs, and it does so by encouraging personal responsibility and independence”.
She recognizes that Roadmap is not perfect. …..”- no government plan ever is. But it’s the best plan on the table at a time when doing nothing is no longer an option”.
Some time ago, I posted my view about Paul Ryan (in Greek). Ryan, who belongs to a new generation of Republicans, has gained national prominence over the past few years. He is one of the youngest members of Congress and next January will take over as the chairman of the powerful House Budget Committee (Currently the ranking member of the Committee, he won a landslide victory on November 2 with nearly 70 per cent of the vote)
Certainly, Paul Ryan is getting noticed by Palin, who –according to rumours – is considering a run for the White House.
